Football Star Welsh Athlete Ramsey Increases Reward for Missing Canine in Mexican Territory to £15k
Wales football star Ramsey has boosted the bounty for leads about the vanished pet named Halo to £15,000.
The former Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who currently plays for Pumas UNAM in the capital, mentioned that Halo was last seen in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato state zone.
The beagle, who went missing on October 9th, was had on a GPS collar, and Ramsey shared a exact coordinates of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of updates concerning our pet Halo please get in touch with us. Big bounty for locating her. We are all praying she's ok and can be back to our family soon," Ramsey wrote on Instagram.
Initial Offer and Emotional Appeals
The footballer initially revealed that his dog had gone missing a fortnight back and has subsequently posted multiple photos of the adored canine on Instagram.
A $$10k reward was first announced, but with no news on the dog's whereabouts after a week, the player and his family raised the reward.
"We just want our girl home," he said in a further appeal on his online platforms after the elderly pet disappeared.
A recent photograph upload is a monochrome image of Halo napping, her head resting in the bend of the athlete's arm, with the description: "How I wish to hold you once more sweet Halo."
Household's Concerns and Background
The footballer has also posted a message from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on online channels saying they have several "serious questions" regarding the incident and are concerned the family "may never receive answers".
"We have yet to are still searching for Halo. It is unlikely we will ever," the spouse's update stated.
The Welsh captain signed with Mexican first division team Pumas UNAM earlier this year and made his inaugural match in the Mexican league in the eighth month.
